The Ipswich GP Specialty Training , like all GP Speciality Training Schemes, takes 3 years to complete.

The training is divided into two 18 month periods - 18 months in hospital and then 18 months in a training practice. This is split into a 6 month period in the first 2 years of training and a complete year in General Practice in the final year.

If you are unsure about a career in General Practice medicine please visit the
GP Recruitment website.  This site aims to give you information on what it means to be a modern GP and how trainees view the training they receive.
